Decentralized clinical trials — Where do we stand?

In the fall of 2021, Climedo Health conducted a survey to assess the state of DCTs adoption in companies, and the associated benefits and potential challenges.

108 respondents from Europe and North America participated in the survey, including numerous manufacturers from medtech and pharma.

The survey addressed the following areas:

• DCT experience and degree of decentralization, study designs and technologies used
• Challenges of traditional clinical trials, barriers to DCT adoption
• Perceived potential of DCTs as well as experienced benefits of DCTs
• A look at the future of decentralized clinical trials
