Convincing trial physicians to participate in a clinical trial is an ongoing challenge for sponsors and CROs. For physicians, trials are burdensome on many levels including the time required, administrative hurdles and communications with sponsors and patients. Often, there is little academic merit waiting for them at the end. So it’s not surprising that physicians prefer to put their efforts elsewhere.
Yet, without trials, there is little scientific advancement and less chance to help patients with novel treatments. In this webinar, we were joined by former physician and former CSO of Novartis, Professor Lothar Färber to present exclusive findings from a recent survey conducted by Climedo and Siteworks among 65+ European trial physicians.
We uncovered key drivers for trial physicians to join a trial, the challenges they encounter, their expectations from sponsors and CROs and their perspectives on digital solutions in trials. We also covered several interesting open comments that physicians gave during the survey.
What we dicussed:
- Exclusive insights: Gain access to unique insights based on our recent survey findings.
- Interactive polls: Participate in interactive audience polls to share your thoughts and insights.
- Live discussion: Engage in a dynamic discussion with our panelists and fellow attendees and ask our expert Prof. Färber any questions you may have
This was an opportunity to gain valuable insights and contribute to the discussion on enhancing collaboration between trial physicians, sponsors, and CROs in clinical trials.
